2008 Detroit Auto Show

I was at the Detroit auto show on Monday, January 21, 2008. Here are some highlights of the show. My dad took the pictures, so if you don't like how they turned out, blame him. XP (Next time, I'll take the pictures.)

This can drive itself with it's many lasers and cameras. There was a competition on who can build the best self-driving vehicle. This one won.

I don't know what car it is, but it looks wicked sweet.

10

I don't know the model though...

12

I found this car unique from the others as it has solar panels on the roof.

13

I think it's another Karma, I could very well be wrong.

14

Here's a nice of the Ford Mustang. I really like the color that they have it in.

15

Racing stripes! XP

16

The nice thing about this Honda Civic, since it runs on natural gas and most homes already get natural gas or can easily get it, it utilizes an already existing abundant resource.

17

Here's a shot of the dashboard, which I think looks very cool.

18

Very nice looking design, similar to the Nissan Forum, but smaller. Though, it could be just the color that makes me think that.

19

Keep note that all those spots aren't a part of the car, it's a reflection of the display behind us. You can even see us, or at least a silhouette of us, in the reflection. I'm on the left, my dad is on the right. Also look through the window and notice the dashboard.

20

Here's a side look at the Honda C-RZ.

21

Here's Honda's hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Read the sign in the picture if you want to know what that means.

22

This is Honda's natural gas system for their Honda Civic NGV. (Take a wild guess on what NGV stands for.)

23

This is the front view of the HX with a door open. It closely resembles the Warthog in the game Halo or a dune buggy. This is one of the coolest concept vehicles.

24

This is the rear view of the HX. It closely resembles the Warthog in the game Halo or a dune buggy. This is one of the coolest concept vehicles.

25

Here's the front view of the Jeep Renegade. This seems to resemble the Warthog more than the HX from Hummer.
