Ivik Injerd, commonly known online as "zavaboy", is a 21 year old Christian (Baptist) guy living in Washington, Michigan. He enjoy's doing a lot of things with his mostly online life. He likes to talk geek, so please contact him if you too are a geek. He doesn't have as many geek friends as he would like to have. His best geek friend is Jim Chevalier, who resides in California and his website is Jimbug.org. Jim has helped Ivik with a lot of things for many years and even is the one who got Ivik on the basics of PHP. From that point, Ivik's knowledge in PHP has increased at an alarming rate (sarcasm). Ivik is currently proficient in XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, XML, ActionScript, Flash, Photoshop, Bryce, and a few others. He doesn't consider himself a professional level in JavaScript, Perl, and SSH. Ivik doesn't believe that it is correct to cram all this in one paragraph, but I'm not listening to him.
Ivik is conservative in his design beliefs. He believes that websites should be made simple yet attractive to the end users (or potential customers) without taxing them or their (possibly) slow connections (like the prehistoric dial-up connection) and/or computers with dozens of graphics for a page design. In other words, Ivik likes to design in simple clean minimalistic tableless CSS web design. See his portfolio for many examples of what this means.
Some of Ivik's interests are building web related things, making 3D models with Wings 3D to render in Bryce, playing with his Rubik's cube (current personal record is 2:08.668 set October 19, 2007 at 8:57:30am), playing around with the GD library in PHP, adding to zavabot (an IRC bot), seafood, making games with Flash, playing games (who doesn't?), thinking, DDR, dune buggies (he doesn't currently own one though), sharing his knowledge with others, snooping around online. Erm... he's a pyro at times.
