Isometric view in Bryce

Here's a quick how-to on making Bryce render in isometric view. I'm using Bryce 5 for this.

  1. Open Bryce and click on "Camera Options..." (it's located directly right of the "XZ Camera Control"), then select "Edit Current Camera..." from the menu.
    Step 1
  2. Next, set the X and Y positions to "99999", Z position to "-99999", X rotation to "35.264", Y rotation to "-45", FOV to "1", and lastly scale to "1000".
    Step 2
  3. Apply the changes and now you have isometric view in Bryce! It's not exact, but more than close enough. In some cases, you may not be able to see anything because the fog setting, adjust the sky to a clear atmosphere.
    Final Result

These principles may be applied to any 3D program, but many have a feature to toggle perspective.
